KEKS Pay payment on the webshop

Webshops built on the Shape Core platform can now accept payments via KEKS Pay. Read on to find out how and why!

Payment methods in eCommerce
The moment a customer reaches the payment method page on a webshop is one of the most critical points in the entire customer journey. Many eCommerce experts analyze best checkout practices, and the common conclusion among all of them is that the payment process must be as simple as possible.

The most common payment methods on webshops include:

card payment – through the integration of a payment gateway that serves as an intermediary between the merchant and banks or card companies
bank transfer / internet banking – direct payment to the merchant’s IBAN
cash on delivery – payment upon delivery, usually in cash, or by card if the delivery service supports it
PayPal or similar global payment systems – ideal for international transactions; customers trust PayPal as a platform that protects them in case of any disputes with the merchant
In recent years, locally popular payment systems have emerged, offering users even faster, safer, and simpler payments. In Croatia, one unique standout is KEKS Pay for webshops.
