Dwizards is our newest acquisition

We are extremely happy and proud to have strengthened our team with the company Dwizards, allowing us to serve even more satisfied clients and offer an even wider range of services than before.

Shipshape d.o.o. from Zagreb is one of the leading digital agencies on the Croatian market for eCommerce and web solutions, with a reference list that includes Pevex, Optika Anda, Makromikro Grupa, Nova TV, Deliiicije, Vedrini, Dicta, Encian, Frigo VE, and many other retailers from various industries.

By acquiring its competitor, the company Dwizards, Shipshape has significantly strengthened its position on the Croatian market.

With this acquisition, Shipshape has expanded its team, client base, and the technologies on which it provides solutions. In addition to custom Symfony-based solutions, Shipshape now also offers WordPress and WooCommerce solutions.

According to Ernest Antolović, a partner at Shipshape, the acquisition was unplanned and completed within a short timeframe. He stated: “The new resources will greatly help us provide clients with better and more comprehensive services. Although the platforms used by us and Dwizards differ, they are fundamentally based on the same technologies, which will greatly facilitate the transition for our new colleagues.”

“We can now offer clients a choice of technology for their solutions, with the plan to cover simpler projects with WordPress and more complex ones with custom solutions. For the sake of transaction simplicity, Shipshape did not acquire Dwizards as a legal entity, but rather agreed on the transfer of resources — specifically employees and projects. We are currently in the process of transitioning employees and projects to Shipshape, while Dwizards as a legal entity remains under its current owners.”
